Hi, Aimee!
Welcome, and thanks for visiting
planDisney with your question. I’m so sorry your plans to visit the Happiest Place on Earth were put on hold last year. I’m sure you’ve been awaiting the day you can step into the magic of the
Disneyland Resort!
While I know it was disappointing to postpone your trip during the theme park closures, the great news is that many
theme park ticket expiration dates have been extended. Most unused, non-promotional tickets that were set to expire during the closures now have an expiration date of December 16, 2021. Californians can visit at this time, and out-of-state Guests will be allowed to enter the Disneyland Resort theme parks beginning June 15, 2021. That said, if the extended expiration date arrives before you’re able to plan your vacation, you should still be able to use the amount you paid for your tickets originally as credit toward new tickets at the current prices.
You can link your tickets to your account on
Disneyland.com or with the
Disneyland mobile app to check their current expiration date. Once you have valid tickets linked to your Disney account, you'll be able to make a
theme park reservation online for your group to visit the parks, pending availability. If you have any issues linking the tickets or have other questions regarding the expiration date extension, please call (714) 781-4636.
I hope this helps you make plans, Aimee, and that your magical vacation is just around the corner! Please don’t hesitate to send us any other questions you might have.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
