I purchased for two day one park per day Disneyland resort tickets in December 2019. As you know, the park closed in March 2020 and they were not able to use them before the expiration date shown on the back January 12,2021. How can we replace these?

Welcome to planDisney, Cori. Thanks for taking the time to stop by with your question for us.

Lots of magic, excitement and pixie dusts await at the Disneyland Resort. After an extended closure, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are finally gearing up to reopen on April 30, 2021.

Cori, with your previously purchased tickets that you were unable to use last year, I recommend linking them to your Disney account again. If they were previously linked, they may have “disappeared” from your Disney account when the original expiration date passed. You should then be able to view your new extended expiration date. According to the Disneyland Resort website, wholly unused multi-day tickets that expired on January 12, 2021 will have the expiration date extended to December 16, 2021 (the ticket expires 13 days after its first use, or on December 16, 2021, whichever occurs first). That gives you plenty of time to enjoy your previously purchased theme park tickets. Be sure to check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see which dates you can book for your trip.

If you have additional questions, Cori, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again. We’re all EARS and ready to assist you in planning your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort!

    See ya real soon,

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
