Hello there Glenda!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for submitting your question! As a fellow Annual Passholder, I think you made a great choice in purchasing your own Annual Passes! There truly is no better feeling than being able to go to the parks whenever you want. I also see your trip is coming soon, you must be so excited! You picked a great time to visit with
The World's Most Magical Celebration in full swing and just in time for the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, one of my favourites.
Now let's talk about your tickets! When you purchase an Annual Pass, you will typically
have one year to activate it by using it to enter the parks. Once you have activated your Annual Pass,
your expiration date will update to one year from when it was activated. Since you have not used yours, however, it would technically have expired after a year of not being activated. But do not worry! You can actually use the money you spent and
apply it to a new Annual Pass or tickets of equal or higher value. Although you might not have the actual Annual Pass that you purchased a few years ago, you will still be able to get an Annual Pass when you do come to visit. If you have any questions about this process, I would recommend
getting in contact with a Cast Member via chat, email or phone. You can also always talk to a Cast Member at a ticketing window at the main entrance of any of the four parks! Cast Members truly are magical and I always turn to them when I need help!
I hope this was helpful, Glenda, and that you can get back to planning your magical vacation real soon! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, don't hesitate to reach out. We are always happy to help!
Have a magical day and I am sending you all the pixie dust for your next trip,
Ariane
