I purchased a trip for my family using my email account. My Disney experience was also set up under my email account. Will each family member need to use my email and my password for the account so they can access their digital passes? Please advise.

Hello Sharon and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort soon. It looks like you are almost ready to put the finishing touches on what is a fabulous vacation. The magic is calling as you will be joining the World’s Most Magical Celebration on Earth!

Sharing your vacation plans with “Family and Friends” in My Disney Experience is great because you can connect to them without giving away your sensitive login information & passwords. This will also keep your travel party from accidentally deleting or canceling some of your important plans or reservations.

To share your plans, log in to My Disney Experience and click on the “My Family & Friends” tab. Find the Guest you want to share with on your list and click “Update” next to their name and choose how you would like to share your plans. If you have family members on a different room reservation, you may want to select “All My Plans.” If you purchased a Memory Maker, for your trip, you will also want to check the “My Disney PhotoPass Photos” box to link all of their PhotoPass Photos to your account. Be sure to save your changes. Your family and friends will be able to see the plans in My Disney Experience on their accounts. You can continue to manage the My Disney Experience accounts for anyone under age 13 who does not have their own account.

You can also set up a Disney MagicMobile pass for anyone to use, who does not have their own My Disney Experience account, on their smartphone device or Apple Watch. This MagicMobile pass will be stored in the smart wallet of their device and can be used to access theme park admissions, add photos to your Memory Maker account, and redeem Genie+ Lightning Lane experiences. To create a pass, open the My Disney Experience mobile app and tap the 3 horizontal lines in the lower right corner. Tap the “Disney MagicMobile” button. Next, tap the “+” sign in the top right corner to bring up guests in your party who do not have a pass. Check the box for everyone that you are creating a digital pass for and choose a pass style to add to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay. Confirm the addition of the pass by clicking the “Add” button. You can “Select Passes to Share” via text message. The recipient can add the pass to their mobile wallet.

I hope this helps with your family planning. If you need more assistance, please come back and visit us again here at planDisney.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
