I purchased tix for 4 people - they have them in their wallets but cannot add them to the app to make reservations separate from me. We've tried everything and the app does not accept the number under the barcode on their pass? What am I missing

    Hiya Lisa!

Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I am so glad you decided to stop by and ask us this question, as I love to use the My Disney Experience service to plan my Disney vacation. In fact, the My Disney Experience mobile app, in particular, is something I cannot live without!

The first reason that popped into my head when reading your question is that the tickets might have been automatically linked to your account when purchasing them. Indeed, although it was previously required to enter the number of your reservations into your account, Disney now often automatically links your reservations to your account if you are logged into it upon checkout. This means that the tickets you purchased might have already been linked to your account. To check if this is the case, log into your account and click on "My Plans" under the My Disney Experience tab. Then, click on "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" and look through the visible tickets. If the tickets were linked to your account, you should get a "Reassign Ticket" button next to them, allowing you to connect the tickets to each person's profile. If this is not the case, I would also suggest ensuring that everything is updated and that you use one of the accepted browsers if you are using your computer. You can also reach out to a Disney Cast Member via chat, email or phone for assistance from 7 A.M. to 11 P.M. EST every day.

Once you have linked your theme park tickets, make sure to also book your theme park reservations as soon as possible! Indeed, theme park reservations are required in addition to valid theme park tickets to be able to enter the theme parks. If your tickets have the Park Hopper option, you can make a reservation for the first park you intend to visit and then park hop after two P.M. without having to make a new reservation. In this case, it is important to use your first theme park reservation, as you will not be able to park hop if you have not used your theme park reservation first. Be sure to check the My Disney Experience mobile app for Park Hopper availability.

I hope this was helpful, Lisa, and that you and your party will have the best day ever on your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your vacation, please don't hesitate to reach back out. You're as welcome as can be here on planDisney!

    Have a magical day,
