I purchased 2 tickets yesterday and it made enter my license driver number to confirm my residence. I purchased 2 tickets and am planing 2 more for my friends under my account. Once we get to the park, do my guests still need to show proof of residence?

    Hi Eloisa!

Thanks for visiting us here on the planDisney Panel! So nice to hear from a fellow Floridian! I think that it is wonderful that you are planning on buying tickets for your friends. The answer to your question depends on the ages of your friends when they arrive for their visit at the Walt Disney World Resort. If they are under the age of 18, you can purchase the Florida Resident Discounted Tickets for them. However, if they are over the age of 18, they are considered adults and will be asked to provide proof of Florida Residency either online or upon arrival. When you purchase the adult tickets (18+), each adult is required to present a valid Florida Drivers License or Florida ID Card or provide proof of Florida Residency, regardless of who purchases the tickets. Minors do not have to provide proof of residency. Hope this helps!

Did you know? As a Florida Resident you have many special offers available to you! For more information, please visit this page: Florida Resident Special Offers.

Hope this helps Eloisa! It has been a pleasure assisting you. Please feel free to send me any other questions you may have!

Thanks for sending your question to the planDisney Panel!
