    Hello, we have purchased tickets for this year's MNSSH. I want to be a little prepared and I haven't been able to find details regarding the parade, special fireworks show, etc. Can you help me with any timing details? Best spot to watch parade/fireworks?

    Hi Devone ~

    Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is my favorite special event at the Magic Kingdom (MK)! They have not published the entertainment schedule for the 2014 MNSSHP events yet. Here is the entertainment schedule that we saw during the 2013 event evenings:

    * Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade was held at 8:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
    * Celebrate the Magic took place at 9:15 p.m.
    * Happy HalloWishes was held at 9:30 p.m.
    * Disney Villains' Dance Mix and Mingle! was held at 7:45 p.m., 8:50 p.m., 10:05 p.m., and 11:15 p.m.

    The first event this year will take place on September 1, 2014. I have always been able to find the special MNSSHP Guide Maps online the day after the first event. AllEars.net (an excellent unofficial website) usually has the MNSSHP Guide Maps online the day after the first event. Schedules may change on different event evenings so be sure to pick up an official MNSSHP Guide Map along with a trick-or-treat bag when you enter MK.

    There are lots of great places to watch Happy HalloWishes but in the front of Cinderella Castle is best so that you can see the special projections on the front. I always try to find a spot in the hub in front of the Castle.

    Any place along the parade route is great for Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade. The second parade is less crowded and that is the one I'd recommend. We like to watch from near the beginning of the parade route (it will be marked on the Guide Map) in Frontierland or in front of the Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square. That way we can see it first and get another couple of rides in before heading out.

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
