Hi Melody,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us with your question. I am sorry to hear that you initially purchased Theme Park Tickets for the wrong date, at least you realized the error prior to arriving at Disneyland Resort over the holiday season!
Theme Park Tickets are non-refundable, which is why you would see two charges on your credit card. Even though you were able to cancel the
Theme Park Reservation, since you originally purchased the Theme Park Tickets, they will still appear in your Disney Account. I suggest calling
Ticket Services and explaining what happened to the Cast Member. Even though Theme Park Tickets are non-refundable, it is always worth a try.
Since your original Theme Park Tickets are no longer attached to a Theme Park Reservation, you could always try making another Theme Park Reservation that fits within the Tier of the tickets prior to their expiry. If you are unable to make it back to Disneyland Resort prior to the expiration date, don't worry Melody. You can use the value of your fully unused Theme Park Tickets toward the value of a new Theme Park Ticket, when you are able to head back to Disneyland Resort.
I hope you found this information useful, Melody. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to come back and visit us here at
planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
