    I purchased tickets to visit the park on December 8th, but when I try to get a park reservation on the app, it says "unable to make a theme park reservation." Suggestions beyond contacting Disney? I'm waiting for a callback.

    Thanks for visiting planDisney - I'm happy to hear you're planning to visit the Disneyland Resort in just a few days! Though I'm also sorry to hear you're having trouble making your theme park reservations.

    In looking at the Theme Park Reservation Calendar, it looks like there are reservations available for both parks on December 8, so you should be fine there. 

    Ultimately, this does sound like it'll be a great issue to have a Cast Member help with since there are a lot of different details that could be causing this to occur that I'm not able to see. Instead of waiting for a callback, I would suggest calling the Tickets line or Vacation Packages line and waiting to speak with a Cast Member directly!

    However, having said all of the above, there is one step in particular that I would try if I were in your shoes that I wanted to share as well.

    First, I would visit the My Plans hub on the Disneyland Resort website. This is a relatively new feature but has been a game-changer for me as I've planned my trips to the Happiest Place on Earth. It serves as a fantastic all-in-one spot to make and manage all of your reservations for upcoming visits.

    The top section of the page has quick links to make the different kinds of reservations and the bottom section lists each day of your upcoming trip and any associated reservations with each day.  

    I would suggest trying to make a theme park reservation starting from the My Plans hub to see if it will allow you to make one from here. If it's still giving you an error, then I'd suggest reaching out to a Cast Member who can help you figure out the specifics of your situation!
