Christian from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hi there so I purchased 2 tickets and do to unfortunate events I need to change the date. If I were to cancel my tickets, will the money I spent on those go towards the news tickets? Or will I lose that money and have to start over?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Christian!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by, and we are so excited to answer your question and help you plan your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort! We are most grateful to be on your PLANNING TEAM! WOO HOO!

I am so sorry you were not able to visit the Disneyland Resort on your original dates. Please know Mickey Mouse missed you so much and can't wait to see you REAL SOON! So, are you ready for some MAGICAL news? I am very happy to share with you that you can change your Disneyland Theme Park Reservation for a different day with your originally purchased tickets. This means you do NOT need to start over! WOO HOO! My recommendation would be to check the expiration date on your theme park tickets and make sure you book a new theme park reservation before your tickets expire. Even if you are not able to visit before your tickets expire, I want you to know that the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price.

I hope this information helps you in your planning! As you know exciting announcements are being made all of the time at the Disneyland Resort, and we don't want you to miss a thing! That is why I recommend you follow Disneyland on all of its social media channels, and be sure to subscribe to The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date Disney information!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
