Greetings from a fellow New Yorker! I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. So, Helene, let's get to it!
Oh boy, that must have been such a bummer to have to postpone your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation in 2020. But, the good news is you have a new trip scheduled in just a few short weeks, and you'll now get to visit during
Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration. It really is such a special time to experience the magic, and you'll feel the EARidescent excitement in the air from the moment you arrive. Make sure you keep an eye out for the 50 golden statues of the
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection. These fun statues are placed throughout all four theme parks and are perfect for a fun photo op. You can even make a game of it by keeping score of how many characters each family member can spot. The winner gets a Mickey Bar!
As for your theme park tickets, your unused tickets from 2020 would be expired, but you can still use the value of those tickets toward your future visit. Now, your expired tickets will no longer show up in your
My Disney Experience app, so you will need to call the Existing Tickets team at (407) 934-7639 to get the value applied to the tickets for your March vacation.
Keep in mind that you will need to make a
Park Pass Reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day. So, before you call the Existing Tickets office, you may want to check the
theme park reservation calendar to make sure there is still availability on your dates.
Helene, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here before you know it! Please feel free to visit us again with any other vacation planning questions you may have!
Until next time,
Diana
