Hi, when I purchased tickets tonight I put my future daughter in laws first name in as her married name, what if she doesn't get her new drivers license in time with the name change.

    Hi Cameron,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! First, congratulations on your family’s upcoming celebration! When you come to the Walt Disney World Resort, make sure the newlyweds get complimentary “Happily Ever After” pins to wear around the Resort. You can grab them at most merchandise locations and in the Disney Resorts Collection hotel lobbies.

I actually went through a similar process not too long ago! When I got married, I just made sure that my name in the My Disney Experience mobile app matched my identification at the time of the trip. So, it may be easier for you to adjust her name to whatever identification she has before your upcoming vacation. Remember it can always be adjusted at a later time within the app!

I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for an epic celebration. Congratulations again and if you or the family have any other vacation questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
