Ryan from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I purchased tickets through tickets at work, seeing that either park was open on the calendar. Once purchased I now see that I am unable to reserve on the 23rd. Really need this day as we are there to celebrate a birthday, please help ASAP!

Hi Ryan! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

I took a quick look at the availability calendar, and there are theme park reservations available for your preferred park date for both parks. It is possible for popular days to fill up, but that doesn't seem to be the issue here. You should be able to make a theme park reservation for your preferred date with a standard admission ticket. Are you sure you don't already have a theme park reservation, which is why you're not able to select another one? Let's check!

First, be sure you've linked your admission ticket to your MyDisney account. Once your ticket is linked, visit the Theme Park Reservation page. Scroll down until you see a "Make or Modify Park Reservations" button and click to check for an existing reservation. Any confirmed reservations will appear on the next page. If you don't have a reservation, you'll also be able to make one on the next page or modify the existing one to a different available date.

I hope this solves your problem! If not, give the friendly Cast Members on the Tickets phone line a quick call to see if they can determine what type of ticket you've purchased which might be preventing you from selecting your preferred date. They're always happy to help.

There's going to be so much to explore this summer, including Pixar Fest. This celebration features new entertainment, Characters, experiences, merchandise, and special food and beverage menu items all themed to beloved Pixar films. Be sure to check out all the foodie details on Disney Eats if you like to plan your snack and food attack before you arrive! Disney Eats is the official food and beverage news source for the parks, so they always have the information you crave.

    Have a magical day.
