    We purchased our tickets thru our Air Force base here and linked them in my disney experience app. Once i link our Magic bands in the app will i need my tickets or will the magic band do as admission.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you so much for sending this great Walt Disney World Resort question to us hEAR! I'm also an Air Force wife and would love to help you and your family have an amazing time at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

    It sounds like your My Disney Experience Account is all set up with your family member profiles ready to go, individual park passes assigned, and your MagicBands linked. You're all set on the technical side of things! There's one extra step that I'll explain next, but yes, you are correct that your MagicBands will serve as your theme park admission ticket after day one. You can bring your tickets with you each day tucked away to have just in case, or you can completely leave them back in your hotel room, it's up to you. (Pro Tip: If you do choose to leave your tickets behind each day, write each person's name on the barcode side of their pass and then take a picture of that side with your phone; this way should anything happen to one of your bands and you don't have your tickets with you, your info can still be found.)

    Here's that one extra step: If you purchased the really amazing 4, 5 or 6-day Walt Disney World Resort U.S. Military Promotional Tickets (aka "Disney's Military Salute"), then the physical passes that you were given from the base/MWR Ticket Office are actually 'exchange certificates' and serve kind of like placeholders for your real park tickets. These passes can be linked in your My Disney Experience account so you can make FastPass+ Reservations, but they need to be activated before your first park entry. The activation process is super easy and takes 5 minutes: stop by any Guest Relations location with all of your MagicBands, all of the Exchange Certificates and a valid U.S. Military ID, and the Cast Member will do the rest. You'll actually be issued brand new physical ticket cards at this point, so you'll want to repeat the same 'name writing and picture taking' for each of these. There's a Guest Relations location just outside the turnstile entrance of each Disney Theme Park and Disney Water Park, so you could take care of this process minutes before you plan to enter. However, in my experience, there tends to be a morning rush hour line at the parks, so if your arrival day is before your first Disney Day, activate your tickets soon after you get in town. I really like the location at Disney Springs because it's open pretty late and surrounded by great dining and shopping. But since you're staying at Shades of Green, you could easily walk to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and then catch the Monorail to Magic Kingdom Park, too.

    If you didn't purchase the multi-day promotional tickets but rather the slightly discounted "Magic Your Way" tickets, those are sold already activated don't require the visit to Guest Relations.
