Greetings, Margarita, and welcome to planDisney! I hope you have a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort over the summer. It's great to hear that you'd like to return in 2026 as well!
Margarita, the answer to your question depends on the details of your tickets. I'm happy to share some information about standard theme park tickets that I hope will be helpful to you.
- If you purchased a standard 4-day ticket, which is considered a multi-day ticket, it must be used within 13 days of its first use, according to the terms. If this is the ticket you have, and you activated it in the summer, the unused day would no longer be valid for park entry.
- If what you have is a separate 1-Day ticket that has not been used, you'd have a little more flexibility. The expiration date for a 1-Day ticket depends on when it was purchased. If you look back at the confirmation email you received after purchasing your tickets, you should find the expiration date listed there. If it has expired, you would be able to apply the cost of that ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value, as long as the original ticket was wholly unused.
There were other ticket types offered throughout the year, each with their own terms and validity periods. I suggest calling the
Tickets phone line and speaking with a Cast Member. They should be able to see the details of your ticket to confirm what your options are.
Margarita, be sure to check the
Offers & Discounts page often to see if there are any ticket deals that may apply to you. The
Disney Parks Blog is another good resource. I hope that you are able to visit the Disneyland Resort again in 2026. There is
a lot to look forward to, such as the continued 70th Anniversary Celebration, Lunar New Year festivities, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, and more.
