I just purchased 4 tickets for my son’s birthday but I got the wrong ones. I bought the weekday ticket by accident and need the weekend ticket, what do I do. I already have hotel reservations for port new Ireland resort from 22 to the 25 of April. Help

    Hi Maya,

Welcome to planDisney; we are happy that you are here. First, let me say “Happy Birthday” to your son. Your son is so lucky to have a mother who would plan him a magical birthday celebration at Walt Disney World Resort. Have you looked into marking the occasion with a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake?! At select dining locations, you can have a delicious chocolate cake brought out to surprise your son and celebrate his birthday. It is just one more way to make the birthday celebration a little extra magical.

I’m so sorry to hear that you accidentally purchased the wrong tickets for your April trip Maya. As Judy Hopps says, “Life’s a little messy. We all make mistakes.” Let’s see if I can help you change those ticket dates through My Disney Experience. Before we can troubleshoot, please make sure that the current tickets are linked through your My Disney Experience account. Also, check Park Pass availability for the weekend; I would hate for you to change the ticket dates and find out afterward you cannot secure Park Pass Reservations at the Theme Parks.

    Mobile App
    1. First, open your My Disney Experience mobile app and log in (if you are not already logged in).
    2. Next, select the menu (the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner).
    3. Then click the tile marked “Tickets and Passes.”
    4. Select “Change Tickets” and the Theme Park tickets you would like to modify.
    5. Choose your new dates and check out (not that your Theme Park ticket price may change due to the modification).

    Web Brower
    1. First, log on to your My Disney Experience account and go to “My Plans.”
    2. Then, Locate your Theme Park tickets under “Tickets and Memory Maker.”
    3. Next, you should see and select the option next to your Theme Park tickets to “Modify Ticket.”
    4. Select your desired Theme Park dates and check out.

If you experience difficulties getting your Theme Park tickets modified, Maya, please reach out to a Cast Member at 407-939-5277. They will be able to assist your further.

Again, Happy Happy Birthday to your son! If there is anything else I can do to help you with your upcoming trip, come back and see me.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
