    I purchased tickets for someone, how do we get those tickets from My Disney Experience to theirs?

    Hello there! Thank you for visiting us here at planDisney!

    How kind of you to have purchased those theme park tickets on behalf of someone else! I'm sure they will be so grateful to you for doing that! So, let's get to work on getting those tickets reassigned!

    First, you will need to make sure they are listed in your Family & Friends List in your My Disney Experience account. To check, simply follow the steps below:

    • Log into your My Disney Experience app and open up the menu (three horizontal lines on the bottom right corner).
    • From there, scroll down to "My Profile" and toggle over to "Family & Friends List."
    • You will see them listed here if they are linked to your account.

    If you don't see them listed, don't fret! We will just need to get them linked up by following the steps below:

    • First, you will need to make sure whoever you plan to reassign the tickets to has a My Disney Experience account. If not, have them download the My Disney Experience app and set one up.
    • Then, have them log in, open the menu (three horizontal lines on the bottom right corner), and navigate to "My Profile."
    • From there, ask them to scroll down and click on "Show My Linking Code."
    • Then, have them write down their Manual Code and send that your way.

    Once you have their linking code, you can get started on adding them to your Family & Friends list. It is important to note that this code will only be valid for 30 minutes, so make sure to complete the steps below before then:

    • First, open up the menu in your My Disney Experience app and navigate to "My Profile."
    • From there, toggle over to "Family & Friends List" and click on "Add a Guest."
    • Select "Scan their linking code" from the list of options, and click on the "Scan Linking Code" button on the bottom of the screen.
    • Then, you can type in the manual code you received, click submit, and they will be all linked up.

    Now that we have them added to your Family & Friends list, we can finally reassign those tickets! Here is how to do that:

    • Log into your My Disney Experience app, open the menu, and click on "Tickets & Passes."
    • From there, you will see the list of tickets and can select the one you would like to reassign.
    • Then, click on "Reassign Tickets," select the person from your Friends and Family list, follow the prompts to complete the process, and you are all set!

    Once these steps are completed, they should now see those theme park tickets in their My Disney Experience app under "Tickets and Passes."
