Hi Deborah! Fall is a great time to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth! One of my favorite activities at that time of the year is to visit Magic Kingdom Park for the fall and Halloween decorations! They begin going up in mid-August, so you should be able to enjoy them during your September visit! More information on that later, but let’s answer your question first!
Based upon your question, I wonder where you’re checking for Disney Park Pass Reservations. While it is true that you must make reservations for the parks you wish to visit during your vacation, I just checked the Disney Park Pass calendar for the dates you mentioned (September 1 – 3, 2023) and I see that all parks are available for reservations! I’m including the
link to the Disney Park Pass Calendar that I’m looking at. Try using that link to double-check that you’re viewing the correct calendar. If all looks good, then proceed with making your Disney Park Pass reservations for your preferred parks!
I mentioned that Fall is the perfect time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is by far my favorite event! On select nights in the Fall, Magic Kingdom Park turns into a “spirited” party for Guests of all ages! There are special Halloween-themed parades, Halloween drinks and treats, a special Halloween-themed fireworks show, and Guests can even trick-or-treat through the park! You’ll even find Mickey, Minnie, and their pals dressed in their Halloween best! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event that must be purchased separately from regular park admission. One of the best perks of the event is that it typically begins at 7:00 PM, but Guests with tickets will be admitted to the park as early as 4:00 PM! Also, this special party does not require a Disney Park Pass reservation!
Happy Planning!
