Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My son loves to wear his
MagicBand out and about even when we are at home, so we've certainly had a few suddenly disappear over the years too!
The great news is that everything within
My Disney Experience is linked so whether you have a MagicBand from a past trip or a brand new one you purchase when you arrive, you can use them all interchangeably. If you have a past MagicBand that you ordered from a previous trip, it would have automatically linked. If you purchase a new one when you arrive at
The Most Magical Place on Earth or you order one ahead of time from
ShopDisney, you'll need to link it yourself. If you are logged into your My Disney Experience account from a computer, you'll want to click on the logo in the top right hand corner then select
My MagicBands & Cards. Here you'll see everyone that you have linked to you in your account and the attached MagicBands. You even have the option to Deactivate or Report as Lost. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page you'll see the option to link a new one. Once you link it up you'll be good to go and any
tickets or
FastPass+ reservations you have linked in your My Disney Experience will now be connected to the new band as well.
