Hi Kimberly! Welcome to planDisney! I know when it comes to planning a Disneyland Resort vacation, you want to make sure all of your tickets and reservations are in place ahead of time so you can just focus on the magic! Let's see what we can find out together.
It sounds like you purchased
tickets and made theme park reservations during that process, which is great as both are needed to swipe through those park gates! If this is the case, you should hopefully have received an email confirming your purchase. If your ticket purchase is confirmed, your reservation should be as well. We can double-check by going into your account on the Disneyland Resort website or in the
Disneyland Mobile App. When you open the app, navigate to the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner and click on "Tickets and Passes". You should see all of the tickets you purchased with this account and their barcodes, which is what you will use to scan into the parks. If for some reason you don't see your tickets, I would recommend calling our
Guest Services team at (714) 781-4636 to see if the purchase did indeed go through. Our Cast Members in Ticket Services are wonderful!
If everything is all set with your tickets, let's confirm that your theme park reservations are also in place. When you open the app you should see "Upcoming Plans" just under the "Hello!" message. If you click on the first reservation, it will bring you to a page where you can see all of your park reservations. If for some reason you do not see reservations, you can
make these separately with a valid theme park ticket. In the app, open up to the home screen again and click the "+" in the bottom navigation bar. You will see "Make a Park Reservation" and off you go! Reservations are limited and subject to availability, so I would recommend making sure that everything is in place as soon as you can. If there do not happen to be reservations available, keep checking! Guests are always changing their plans and reservations can open up! You can always take a look at the
theme park reservation calendar ahead of time to see what's available.
Hopefully, we've got you all set so that it's smooth sailing through those Main Entrance gates! One other planning tip to consider ahead of time is dining. You can make
dining reservations in advance 60 days ahead of the calendar date. I always like to put a few of these on my itinerary to take a midday break from the park hustle and bustle. Reservations can fill up quickly, so my tip is to book a few at that 60-day mark and decide later if you'd like to use them. Dining can be canceled up to 24 hours ahead of time. If you prefer to be a little more spontaneous, you can always check dining in the app upon arrival for last-minute tables or even add your name to the
Mobile Dine Walk-up List same-day!
Kimberly, I sure hope this was helpful in your planning. You always have a friend in us here at
planDisney if you have any more questions.
Magic awaits!
