Hey there, Rebecca, and welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World vacation is right around the corner, and it looks like you’ve already done most of the heavy lifting to get your vacation planning to the finish line!
Rebecca, there are a few options for securing and using your Theme Park Tickets across the resort. First, if you are staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel as part of your vacation, you can get ticket cards at the Resort Front Desk when you check-in. While you are completing the check-in procedures, ask the Cast Member to include your Theme Park Tickets on your room card, and you’ll be all set! With your tickets included on the card, you will get to use the card to access all of your resort entitlements.
And if you are staying off-site during your vacation, you can pick up your ticket cards at a Theme Park ticket window. You can find these located right outside the entrance of each Theme Park or at the
Disney Springs Ticket Center. If you choose to get do this, I recommend taking a trip to the Disney Springs Ticket Center beforehand to obtain your tickets. Trust me, you do not want to stand in a ticket line on the morning of your first Theme Park day. You want to be at the front of the rope drop line instead! And while you’re at Disney Springs, you can take advantage of that time to experience the incredible dining and shopping the district has to offer.
Finally, if you prefer to go digital,
MagicBands and
MagicMobile passes are available to use in place of physical ticket cards. MagicBands are my personal favorite way to access Theme Park tickets! They are available at an additional cost and worn like a watch, so they are really easy to manage during your Walt Disney World Resort visit. MagicBands don’t require charging, come in cool Disney prints, and are easy to keep up with…must I go on listing the benefits? Why yes, I must! You can also enter the Theme Parks, access Lightning Lane Queue entrances, charge purchases to your hotel folio, link Memory Maker Photos, open your resort hotel room door, and more, all with your MagicBand! Disney’s MagicMobile Service is a convenient - and free - way to access the Theme Park with digital tickets. These passes are created through your
My Disney Experience mobile app and give you the same access to your vacation entitlements as a MagicBand or ticket card. But in my opinion, Disney’s MagicMobile Service is the most convenient way to access the Theme Parks since it is done right on your cell phone!
I hope this helps, Rebecca!
