Hello Jack,
Thanks for bringing your question to us here at planDisney.
Jack, I'm sorry to hear you're unable to play in the Disneyland Resort theme parks as you initially had planned. I'm happy to share some hopefully good news that you should have some flexibility in using your theme park tickets for a fun future visit.
Depending on when you purchased your tickets and what type of tickets you purchased, your options could vary. Your options would also depend on the Terms and Conditions of the ticket purchase.
Typically, when you
purchase theme park tickets, the tickets have a timeframe for which they are valid. For example, if you were to purchase a multi-day theme park ticket today, the ticket would need to be used within 13 days of when you first use the ticket, or by January 12, 2023, whichever happens first. As best I recall, this same timeframe was applicable to tickets purchased back in June. My best suggestion for confirming the specific expiration date for your tickets is to
call the Disneyland Resort tickets team at (714) 781-4636.
One additional encouraging note to share is that, should your unused tickets expire, you can typically apply the amount that you paid for the tickets towards the purchase of new theme park tickets for a future visit.
I hope this information is helpful, Jack. As you're putting your plans together to visit the Disneyland Resort, whenever that visit might be, please do come back and ask the planDisney panelists any questions where we can help you. I also encourage you to
follow the Disney Parks Blog as a way to stay up to date on all that's new and exciting at the Disneyland Resort.
Here's wishing you lots of fun for your next visit to the Disneyland Resort!
Jerry
