Oogie Boogie Bash; DCA; entrance

    I have purchased tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash. I have tried connecting the tickets to my Disneyland APP but it states that the tickets are already assigned. Will these tickets show in my app? I want to use our magic bands to enter the parks.

    Welcome back, Daphne! We love seeing Guests return to planDisney with their questions and it's always an honor to help you prepare for your upcoming Disney vacations - especially one as exciting as your visit to Disneyland Resort for Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party!

    I'm sorry to hear that you had some trouble linking your tickets in your MyDisney account within the Disneyland mobile app. If you haven't been able to successfully use the Link Tickets and Passes page on the official Disneyland website, you should be able to link your special event tickets in the Disneyland app by following these instructions:

    1. Open the app and ensure that you are logged into your MyDisney account
    2. Select the "My Tickets and Passes" section where any currently linked tickets should appear.
    3. If you don't automatically see your Oogie Boogie Bash tickets listed there, you might need to add them by selecting the (+) near the top right-hand corner of the app screen. You'll see the option to "Link Tickets and Passes" appear
    4. Follow the prompts to either use your mobile device's camera to scan the barcode you received or manually enter the ticket ID number.

    Daphne, once your valid Oogie Boogie Ticket is linked to your account, you should be able to select it as an option to assign to your MagicBand+ within the app. Just look for your name and the last four digits of the ticket ID that corresponds to your special event ticket. Once complete, your MagicBand+ will remain assigned to this ticket or pass until it expires, until you have fully used it, or until you assign it to a different theme park ticket or pass. 

    Now, Daphne, I do have another thought for you in case none of the strategies resolve the error you've been experiencing. Occasionally, I have found that if I am not the primary purchaser of the ticket, I need to call Guest Services and ask a Cast Member for assistance. For example, my husband recently purchased an event ticket under his account and I had to navigate a few extra steps to get it linked to my account. For this reason, I recommend that you call the Tickets line and get some technical assistance directly from a Cast Member if you find that none of the previously mentioned steps are working for you.
