I purchased tickets for the Oogie Boogie Bash for October 18. Do I need a reservation for the California Adventure Park that day in order to attend the Bash?

    Hi Cathleen!

Welcome to planDisney! We're so glad that you found us hEAR. I'm happy to be your planEAR today and assist with this Disneyland Resort planning question!

First off, how exciting that you were able to get tickets to the Oogie Boogie Bash! I hEARd that all of the days for the entire event sold out the day the tickets went on sale. I'm so excited for you and your boo crew!! I'm very happy to say that no, you do not need to make Park Pass Reservations to attend this special event ticket night. You'll simply arrive, scan your ticket, and have a ton of fun!

Pro Tip: While the time of this event is from 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM, you'll actually be able to enter Disney California Adventure Park up to three hours early so you can get checked in and be ready to go right when the party kicks off! You also will not need a Park Pass Reservation for this bonus theme park fun time.

Bonus Pro Tip: Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as they'll soon start to announce all kinds of goodies and merch that will be available for purchase this Halloween in both theme parks and the Downtown Disney District. You can even follow them across all of your social media channels so you'll never miss the newest news!

I hope that this answer helped to better plan your upcoming Disney day (or should I say, Disney night) Cathleen! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Panel Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort planning questions, We're All Ears!
