Hello, and welcome to planDisney, Wendy!
Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is coming up and I don’t want you to worry as I will do my best to assist you. I apologize for the inconvenience and I appreciate your great patience, Wendy. You sound like a well-versed, experienced Guest at Walt Disney World Resort and personally, I think you’ve done really well.
When ordering
Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets online, by selecting the Will-Call Option you should have received an email confirmation indicating a ticket ID number which you could then link to My Disney Experience to make a Disney Park Pass -
Theme Park Reservation. If there is any way that you could have a second look at the confirmation to look for those ticket ID numbers you could go ahead and link, and if you can’t find the confirmation, please check your computer downloads in case the PDF was saved.
The last resort is to call or use the email feature at the
Walt Disney World Resort Help Center. I recommend calling in the evening, as long-distance rates are lower, and wait times shorter. Wendy, I had a recent matter and used the email feature which gave me a quick resolution, just be sure to include all details of your inquiry.
The good news is that you can only make your
Disney Genie+ Lighting Lane selections on the day of your theme park visit beginning at 7:00 AM. If you haven’t yet added this option to your park tickets, you will be able to do so just after midnight on the day of your theme park visit, but be ready about 10 minutes earlier to begin your Lighting Lane selections at 7:00 AM, one at a time. Please ensure you have made your Disney Park Pass - Theme Park Reservations first and enable notifications on your mobile device.
Here’s some more good news! Once your ticket matter is settled, using your ticket ID numbers and the My Disney Experience app look for the
Disney MagicMobile Service to create a Disney MagicMobile pass which is your theme park ticket. This will then be stored in your digital wallet on your mobile device. You will still have to go to any Walt Disney World Resort ticket window to pick up your Will-Call theme park admission cards, please take the confirmation and valid photo ID with you.
Wendy, I hope this helps you out and I wish you a quick resolution and most magical visit. Please reach out for any other advice.
Best wishes from a fellow Canadian Disney fan - Jacqueline
