    I purchased my tickets in October to visit the park on December 15th. I would like to purchase the Genie + option. How do I go about doing that?

    Hiya, Althea! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for your question!

    I'm so excited that Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ have finally launched at the Disneyland Resort! Disney Genie is a complimentary digital feature within the Disneyland app that will create park-touring strategies based on your interests. To add on Disney Genie+ to your previously-purchased theme park tickets, you will simply buy Disney Genie+ in the Disneyland app once you enter the parks every day of your trip. The cost will be $20 per ticket, per day. Additionally, you will make any individual attraction Lightning Lane purchases in the Disneyland app and the cost will vary between $7 and $20 per attraction, per ticket. 

    Did you know that Disney PhotoPass downloads are included with your Disney Genie+ purchase? Just be sure to link your photos to your app by having the PhotoPass Photographer scan the QR code in the app when your photos are taken. You can also link any attraction photos and download those as well. Just make note of the photo ID number on the screens as you exit the attraction and manually enter it into the app.
