Juan from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello I just purchased tickets but did not realize the days we were going were blockout dates is there a way to change the dates or change to a tick that does. Or have blockout dates

    Hiya Juan!

Welcome to planDisney! I wish I was only days away from my Walt Disney World vacation like you are!

I gave a little look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability for the next week and boy, it does look busy! I also checked out the Annual Passholder Blockout Calendar and you are right that next week is fully blocked out! Unfortunately, if Park Reservations are not available and the dates are blocked out for passholders there are very few solutions left. Now, I'm not clear if you purchased an Annual Pass or if you purchased regular tickets but the best solution is to purchase separate Theme Park Tickets with a Park Hopper Option. As a Florida resident, you may find discounted ticket options but I believe they are only available if you purchase a multi-day ticket.

A Park Hopper ticket gives you the option to visit more than one Park per day but only after 2:00 PM. With this ticket you will make a Park Reservation for any Park you can find available to start your day. Then, as it gets closer to 2:00 PM you will begin moving to the second Park that you would like to visit and maybe couldn't get reservations for.

I'm sorry I don't have better news for you. I find Park Hopper great for days you want to enter a Park like EPCOT for just a dinner reservation. EPCOT has so many great food options- especially during a Festival. You will be visiting during the International Flower and Garden Festival so make sure to check it out and use this "hopping' feature to the max.

If you decide that next week is just not meant to be then you can change the date of your unused tickets. Just log in to your My Disney Experience account and look for "My Plans." You can change or modify tickets here and if there is a difference in price for the new dates you will, unfortunately, have to pay the price difference. This only applies if this is a regular ticket and not an annual pass.

I hope this helps and I do hope you have a wonderful time!

Let me know if you have any more questions!

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
