Hi John. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
I see your arrival date is for today, so let’s dive right into it and see how we can help turn this trip into a magical Disney memory. As you are aware,
theme park reservations are required for entry into any of the four parks, along with a valid park ticket. I took a peek at the
Magic Kingdom availability for today and the rest of the week, and it does seem like the Magic Kingdom is showing no availability to make reservations on any day.
If today is the day of your visit and you are still having trouble at this time, I suggest stopping by
Guest Relations at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom and speaking with a Cast Member to see if they can assist in any way. This is by no means a guarantee that they will be able to, but it doesn't hurt to explain your situation to them. Cast Members are amazing at providing even just a little bit of Disney magic.
Another option is if you purchased park hopper tickets for this day. The
Park Hopper Option allows you to visit multiple theme parks in one day. You can switch your park reservation to EPCOT, which is showing availability on this day, and visit that park first. Then, you will be able to hop over to the Magic Kingdom starting at 2 PM.
Depending on the age of your young musketeer, it's possible that they may not require a park ticket or park reservation at all. Children under the age of 3 years old can join their families in the parks without purchasing a ticket. If this is the case, you won't have anything to worry about at all.
John, you can also
call the Walt Disney World Resort and speak to a Cast Member for assistance before traveling to the park. This may be the best option before traveling over there.
I hope your day ends up being the most magical one yet!
Greg
