Hi, I just purchased tickets and when I linked them on the Disney App I put them all under the same name. Is that okay? Or do I need to put my child’s name in for the reservations?

    Hello Tracy!

Welcome to planDisney! We feel honored you chose to bring your question our way!

I’m delighted to know that you purchased tickets for you and your child to enjoy a visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!” I know you’ll be captivated by the magic of Walt’s original park!

I have great news to share! You do not have to change the name on the ticket you purchased in order for your child to use it. Once you both arrive at the turnstiles of the Disneyland Resort Theme Parks, a Cast Member takes a picture of each person and links it to their ticket. Then the ticket is associated with the person in the picture, not the name on the ticket. So, there’s nothing you need to do ahead of your visit in order for your child to use the ticket you purchased.

If you have additional questions, I encourage you to reach out to Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636. A Cast Member there would be happy to assist you further.

Thanks again for dropping by with a question! We hope to see you again real soon!
