Hi Natalie, welcome back to planDisney!
Spring is just around the corner, as is your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! The
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival kicks off this week in anticipation of your arrival. I dare you not to drool as you read up about all the
delicious, seasonal food offerings. The vanilla, rose water, and pistachio panna cotta found in the Morocco pavilion will really make your taste buds bloom!
A valid park admission,
park pass reservation, and
mode of entry are currently required to enter the theme parks. Modes of entry include
MagicBand, MagicMobile pass, and/or admission card. MagicBands are available for purchase
online or at various retail locations throughout Disney property. They must be
linked to your My Disney Experience account before use. Available in the
My Disney Experience mobile app,
Disney MagicMobile service allows you to create a MagicMobile pass that's housed on your iPhone, Apple Watch, or Google Pay enabled Android phone. Each person with their own My Disney Experience account should create their own MagicMobile pass. Passes for individuals without their own My Disney Experience account, such as children under the age of 13, can be created by a parent or designated adult. Tap this MagicMobile pass to Mickey touchpoints at theme park entrances, Lightning Lane entrances, and more. Admission cards are the size of a credit card and can be obtained at any ticket window outside of the theme parks. You will need to show the credit card used to purchase the tickets as well as the photo ID of the credit cardholder.
Disney Genie+ service grants Guests access to
Lightning Lane entrances at over 40 attractions throughout the four theme parks. Lightning Lane entrances ensure less time waiting and more time doing. Since you've already purchased the Disney Genie+ service with your tickets and have your tickets linked to your My Disney Experience account, Natalie, plan on making your first Genie+ Lightning Lane booking at 7:00 a.m. on the dot each park day. To do this, be logged into your My Disney Experience mobile app and on your Tip Board (three small lines at the bottom right of the app's home screen --> Tip Board) by 6:59 a.m. When the clock strikes 7:00 a.m., scroll down to your desired attraction and click "Book Experience." Arrival windows book up fast the most popular attractions, so I would plan on booking your family's must-do attraction(s) first. Don't worry if the arrival window is for the afternoon or evening hours. If that's the case, at the time of booking you will be given a time to make an additional Lightning Lane booking. Set a timer on your phone so you don't forget. If your first arrival window opens soon, you'll be able to make an additional Lightning Lane selection as soon as you tap into your first attraction.
Plan magic; planDisney.
