Hello and welcome, Kevin. Thanks for stopping by planDisney to ask us this question. My, oh my, it won't be long until you are skipping down Main Street, U.S.A. toward Sleeping Beauty Castle and I'm just so excited for you! So let's dive in and make sure you're all set for your visit.
Both a valid theme park ticket and theme park reservation are required to enter both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. If you purchased your tickets at the Disneyland site, you were prompted to select your visit dates which also created theme park reservations for your visit. If this is the case, you should be good to go, but we can double-check just to make sure.
In the
Disneyland app, tap the "☰" in the lower right corner to open the menu. Next, tap the "Future Plans" tile where you will find all of your confirmed theme park reservations listed. You can also find this at the Disneyland site by heading to "My Plans" under the heading "My Disneyland." Make sure you see two theme park reservations for each visit date (one for you and one for your wife). If you don't see reservations, you will have to link your tickets to your Disney account and then make your
theme park reservations. Tickets can be linked to your account at the Disneyland site by clicking on "Link Tickets" found under the "My Disneyland" heading.
Once you've confirmed all of this, you're good to go for your magical day. If you haven't already, I highly recommend downloading the Disneyland app for your visit. It's a super handy tool that I always use during my visits. You'll find a map of the resort, attraction wait times and the feature to
mobile order food and beverage (this is a great time saver and game changer for me). I love to mobile order a Cold Brew Black Caf from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up.
Well, Kevin, I hope this has been helpful and that you find that you're all set for your upcoming visit. I hope you and your wife have an absolutely magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Michelle
