    I have purchased tickets for 6, my husband and I, and my daughter, her husband and two children from the UK. We are interested in the Fast pass system specifically for the younger grandchildren to maximize their experience.

    Oh boy! I'm so excited to hear about your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! To me, the only thing better than visiting Walt Disney World Resort is visiting with my loved ones. Here's a little secret: magic multiplies when it's shared and your trip is sure to be an extra special one!

    It sounds like you have already purchased your Theme Park Tickets and have linked them to the Guests in your travel party using your My Disney Experience account. Make sure you've also made your Theme Park Reservations through the Disney Park Pass system! This is how you can reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip.

    Nicolette, have you heard of the Disney Genie+ service? This is similar to the "Fast Pass" system that Walt Disney World Resort used in the past. Disney Genie+ is an additional purchase that will allow you to reserve Lightning Lane entrances at select attractions in all of the theme parks, which is a great way to stay one jump ahead of the standby line! You will reserve these attractions on each day of your trip starting at 7:00 AM EST. I'd recommend making the reservations for your rides right at 7:00 since the most popular rides can go quickly! It's also good to know that you will be able to make your next Lightning Lane entrance selection as soon as you tap into your first attraction or every two hours - whichever comes first!

    There are two ways that you can purchase the Disney Genie+ service:
    1. Try modifying your tickets to include Disney Genie+. To do this, log into the My Disney Experience app and tap the icon that looks like three stacked lines in the bottom right corner. Tap "Tickets and Passes." Tap the first ticket you'd like to change, then look for the option to "Change Ticket." Follow the prompts to include Disney Genie+ service. You'll want to tap the ticket for each Guest you'd like to upgrade individually. 
    2. You can also add the Disney Genie+ service day-by-day on your vacation! The benefit of this is that you can add this service to every day of your trip, or select which days you'd like to purchase this service. To do this, you'll want to log into your My Disney Experience app on the mornings you'd like to purchase Disney Genie+ for that day. Once you're in your app, tap the icon that looks like three stacked lines in the bottom right corner. Tap "My Genie Day," scroll down, and tap the link in the purple banner that says "Get Disney Genie+ for Today." I'd recommend making sure you make this purchase before 7:00 AM since that's the time you're going to make your Lightning Lane entrance selections! You will do this for each day that you'd like to use Disney Genie+.
    Since we're talking about the My Disney Experience app, take some time to explore this before your trip! You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food. This is a great way to minimize waits and maximize the fun!
