Hello and welcome to planDisney, Czarina! I love the flexibility of the
Park Hopper ticket, and going from Disneyland Park to Disney California Adventure Park is an easy hop, skip and jump away. That said, I'm delighted to help with your question.
With a Park Hopper ticket, you only need to make a
theme park reservation for your starting park. This will be the first park you visit on this particular day. Now for the best part...you can hop on over to the other park starting at 11:00 AM Pacific Time! No additional theme park reservation is needed. All you need is your theme park ticket which will be scanned by a Cast Member at the other park for entry. I love having the flexibility of having breakfast in Disneyland Park and then hopping over to Disney California Adventure Park for lunch. If you haven't already, you can always check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see which parks are available for you to reserve as your starting park. If you haven't already, be sure to make your reservation as soon as possible, as theme park reservations are limited.
Oh boy, Czarina! Your visit is just around the corner and I'm so excited for you. Here's an extra fun little tidbit for you. The new attraction,
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, is now open and only available via the virtual queue. If your starting park is Disneyland Park, you'll have up to two chances (if needed) to secure a boarding group through the virtual queue. Be sure to download the
Disneyland app to try to join the virtual queue.
I hope this answers your question, Czarina. Please let us know how we can help as you continue to plan your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a magical day and a magical stay!
Michelle
