I purchased tickets for a group. One person cannot make it but I'd like another family member to be able to use this ticket. I don't want to cancel all tickets because there are no more tickets for sale for that day. The phone lines are shut down.

    Hiya, Lenise!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and we are excited to answer your question regarding your Disneyland Theme Park Tickets!

There is nothing like experiencing the MAGIC of the Disneyland Resort with friends and family! I KNOW you all are going to have the BEST DAY EVER!

Now, are you ready for some TIGGER-ific news? I am very happy to inform you that you do not have to change the name on an existing ticket in order for another person to use that specific Disneyland Theme Park Ticket! Once your party arrives at one of the Disneyland Theme Parks, a Cast Member will take a picture of each person using a ticket. From there, the ticket will be linked to the person on the picture, not the name on the ticket. If the ticket is a multi-day Disneyland Theme Park Ticket, this ticket must be used by the same person for each valid day on the multi-day ticket. Don't you just love happy endings?!

If you have other questions or need further clarification about your Disneyland Theme Park Tickets, you can also call 714-781-4636 and speak to a Cast Member for additional assistance.

I hope this helps you in your planning process! As more and more TIGGER-ific information is shared about the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort, I would highly recommend following Disneyland on all of its social media channels and subscribing to The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date Disney information!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
