Greetings, Fernando!
Welcome to planDisney! A trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is a generous gesture that I'm sure your friend will remember for years to come! Let's go through all the magical steps to link and receive tickets, as well as change dates as needed.
If your ticket purchase was digital, the confirmation email will contain ticket ID numbers. When you have your ticket's confirmation number, you can easily
link it to your
My Disney Experience account in a few easy steps. Choose the
My Plans option on the My Disney Experience drop-down menu located on the Walt Disney World website. There will be a blue ticket icon, labeled
Park Tickets with a link ticket option. Choose this link to add the tickets to your account. Now you are ready to reassign the tickets to your friend. Be sure that you have
linked your My Disney Experience accounts before proceeding! Locate the
Tickets & Memory Maker tab on the
My Plans page. Pick the ticket you wish to reassign and choose the Guest receiving the gift. You can
reassign the tickets in moments. You can also complete this on the My Disney Experience app. Choose the
Tickets and Passes tile to get started. Find the ticket you wish to gift and click the
Reassign Ticket option.
If you chose the
"This order will be a gift option" when checking out, there were two options to choose from; Will Call pickup and Delivery. Tickets at Will Call can be picked up anytime and the Guest will need a valid photo ID that matches the name on the tickets. Selecting the delivery option would show an estimated arrival date at checkout. Standard delivery takes about two weeks and express averages about five business days. After your Guest has their tickets, they can link them to their account with the ID number.
When your friend has their tickets linked, they can change the date as needed in My Disney Experience. This can be done on the same Ticket and Passes tile or page. Select the ticket and choose the
Change Ticket option. A calendar will appear and you can choose the new date!
Once you have adjusted the dates as needed, there is one more very important step to take. All four parks require a
Park Pass reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. Pro tip: before finalizing your park dates, be sure to check that your
favorite location has availability. Making a Park Pass reservation only takes a few moments, so don't delay. Make your Park Pass reservation today!
We'll see ya real soon!
