Hi again, Elijah! Welcome back to planDisney. I’m so glad you’ve stopped by again with another great question for us as you continue to plan your upcoming trip with your friends. My planDisney pal Lisa gave you some
wonderful tips on how to spend a practically-perfect day at the
Happiest Place on Earth! Now that you’ve got some ideas on how to go about your day, let me walk you through the process of linking your tickets together.
When you’ve signed in on the
Disneyland Mobile App, tap on the ≡ icon on the lower right corner to open up the menu. Tap on “My Tickets & Passes”, then “Link Tickets & Passes”. You can then use your phone’s camera to scan your friend’s ticket barcode or manually enter the ID number. And voila, your tickets are now linked. This will come in handy when making dining reservations or getting those
Lightning Lane passes.
Since you’re traveling as a group of 6, it’s highly recommended that you make advanced dining reservations if you wish to enjoy a table service meal during your trip. While you can try to join a walk-up list through the app once you’re at Disneyland Resort, it’s often harder to accommodate a large group at the last minute. I suggest snagging a
dining reservation as soon as possible, up to 60 days in advance, especially at popular places such as
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar (be sure to dine indoors for a fun, unique vibe!),
Blue Bayou Restaurant (you get to eat inside Pirates of the Caribbean!), or Lamplight Lounge (great menu with a view!).
I hope this information is helpful for you, Elijah. As you continue to plan your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, please don’t hesitate to swing by
planDisney again if you have more questions for us.
Sending you pixie dust,
Kiki
