Hiya, Deborah, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for bringing your question our way. I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians plan their next visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth, so let’s get started!
I’m so sorry to hear that you haven’t been able to enjoy your theme-park tickets yet this year. I understand how frustrating this must be for you and your family! I can’t wait for the magic to return, hopefully in the near future… I sure do miss my happy place! I checked the
“Update on Disneyland Resort Operations” page, then clicked on “Theme Park Tickets,” where I read that single-day tickets and wholly-unused multi-day tickets are valid for a future visit through the end of their respective validity period. So, unfortunately, it looks like your expiration date hasn’t been extended at this time.
However, I have good news, too! Even if you aren’t able to use your tickets until after your expiration date, the amount paid for the tickets should be retained, and can most likely be applied toward the purchase of new tickets at any Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth. So, you shouldn’t have to worry about losing the value you’ve already paid for these tickets! For additional ticket questions, I recommend
calling (714) 781-4636, and a Cast Member will be happy to help you figure out your options.
Have you stopped by
Downtown Disney District since it reopened in July? I’ve visited several times, and have been very impressed with the health and safety measures and the social distancing taking place there. If you're planning a visit to Downtown Disney any time soon, I recommend
checking out this page to get an idea what to expect. Also, don’t miss this special
“Panelists Views” question, all about the new experiences at Downtown Disney. Find out what I thought of my first visit, and hear what my fellow
Disneyland Resort Panelists have to say, too!
Sending best wishes for good health and plenty of pixie-dust, Deborah! Hope to see ya’ real soon!
