Susan from VA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I just purchased tickets for our family's trip to Epcot 4/16/25 last night but then realized I probably should have gotten tickets for 4/17/25 instead. Do I need to change the tickets or can we just use them the next day without any hassle?

    Hey there, Susan!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question. You’re in for an incredible visit to EPCOT, especially with the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival in full bloom! This festival is one of my favorites—it transforms the park into a breathtaking display of gardens, topiaries featuring beloved Disney characters, and vibrant floral displays that stretch as far as the eye can see.

But it’s not just about the sights! The Outdoor Kitchens serve up some seriously delicious, garden-fresh dishes inspired by flavors from around the world. I recommend grabbing a bite from the Honey Bee-stro or trying a fan-favorite like the frushi (fruit sushi)! If you visit with little ones, they’ll love activities like the interactive Butterfly Landing, the playful gardens, and Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt. There’s truly something for everyone to enjoy!

Now, let’s talk tickets. If you purchased a 1-Day Theme Park Ticket for a specific date, you’ll need to update the date before midnight on the day before your originally planned visit. No worries, though—it’s easy to make the change! You can update your ticket in the My Disney Experience app by tapping the menu (three horizontal lines), selecting “My Tickets & Passes,” choosing your ticket, and then hitting “Change Ticket.” If you run into any trouble, a friendly Cast Member at the Help Center (Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and Tickets) will gladly assist. Remember that date changes are subject to availability, and you may need to pay the difference if the new date has a higher ticket price.

Back to one of my favorite topics, EPCOT. Be sure to take a trip around the globe at World Showcase, where you can sample flavors from 11 countries. Soarin’ Around the World is a must-do for breathtaking views, and you can tap into your imagination with Figment. Be sure to check out Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana—a peaceful, interactive water experience that’s fun for all ages. Don’t forget to snap some pics with your favorite Disney pals at CommuniCore Hall! If you have a Disney Visa Card, there’s even an exclusive character meet-and-greet just for cardholders.

I hope this helps, Susan! Feel free to reach out again if you have any other questions while planning your visit. EPCOT is calling, and it’s going to be an amazing day!

    See you real soon!
