Hiya, June! I’m so glad you stopped by planDisney.
There’s nothing quite like planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with family—the excitement builds with every passing day! And before you know it, the new year (and your magical getaway!) will be here, ready to bring laughter, joy, and memories you’ll treasure forever.
To make sure everyone in your group can access their tickets, you’ll want to link them to each family member’s Disney account. The easiest way to do that is in the
Disneyland mobile app. Start by opening the app and tapping the menu (☰) button, then selecting “My Tickets & Passes.” You should see all the tickets you purchased listed there. Next, have each family member open the same section of their app. From there, they can tap the blue plus (+) sign in the top right corner, select “Link Tickets & Passes,” and either scan the barcode using their phone’s camera or manually enter the ticket number by tapping “Type ID” at the top of the screen. In just a few taps, their tickets will appear in their account—as if by Disney magic!
Even if you’re the family’s designated trip planner (and it certainly sounds like you are), I recommend keeping all of the tickets linked in everyone’s app. This makes it easy for anyone in your group to manage plans for the whole family—especially if you’ve purchased
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, since you’ll be able to make selections for everyone at once right from your device. Speaking of... I’m so glad
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway is available with Lighting Lane Multi Pass—this is one of my favorite attractions that I enjoy experiencing with my family and friends. I can’t help but smile from ear to ear throughout the entire ride!
And here’s a sprinkle of extra pixie dust for your upcoming visit, June: the
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will still be in full swing during your February trip! You’ll find celebratory décor,
limited-time treats, and special touches throughout the parks honoring seven decades of Disney magic. One of the standout additions is
Walt Disney – A Magical Life, a heartfelt new experience inside the
Main Street Opera House that celebrates Walt’s story through rare artifacts, film footage, and a remarkable Audio-Animatronics figure of Walt Disney himself sharing his journey in his own words. It’s a beautiful tribute to the dreamer who started it all—and a must-see for any Disney fan.
So, June, as you count down the days to your family’s adventure, imagine that first glimpse of
Sleeping Beauty Castle, the sound of the
Disneyland Railroad whistle, and the joy of sharing those moments together. Soon, you’ll be right in the middle of the magic—writing the next chapter of your family’s Disney story.
See ya real soon!
