Purchased tickets for a family of 8, but need to be separated into groups of 4 that go thru the parks together (aka make genie+ reservations together but not as a group of 8). What is the best way to set that up and send them their tickets for Magic Mobile

    Hey Amanda!

Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited that you are getting very close to a special family trip to Walt Disney World Resort! You will be arriving during the amazing EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! I hope you all get to experience this colorful and delicious festival.

Let's get to business. Since these tickets have not been used yet, it's still easy to transfer the ticket to another person. First, the person you want to transfer to should be on your Family and Friends List. To do this, head over to your My Disney Experience page and click on My Family and Friends. Make sure to have all eight of your family members on here.  If they don't have a login by now, then it is time for them to create one for the adults and add in any children they have under their accounts. It's fun to pick out an icon for everyone's profile!  Once you complete that, you can click again on My Disney Experience, and in the drop-down menu select "My Plans". It is here that you will see all of the tickets you purchased and can reassign them to a member of your family that is linked to you.

Now you can enjoy the vacation, make any Genie+ reservations together or separately and enter the Parks with no issue. The latest update to Genie+ is great in that if you accidentally added all eight members of your family to the selection you can now modify it rather than cancel it. If you have any problems while in the Parks, speak to a member of Guest Relations. They are located throughout the Parks and can be located via the My Disney Experience App map feature. Look out for the big blue umbrellas that say "Guest Relations"!

I recently traveled with a party of eight and I found it easier to just click "Select All" when booking a Genie+ selection and securing a favorable time rather than picking through my Family and Friends List. Every second is precious when competing with other guests for these prime return times. I would then Modify my selection and remove the family members that did not want to join me but keep my desired return time selection. I found Genie+ most valuable on my day at Magic Kingdom Park. However, I tend to use it all the Parks as I just don't like waiting in lines with little ones and I found it very helpful.

I am wishing you a wonderful trip! Let me know if you have any more questions!
