Hey there, hi there, Enid! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you've stopped by!
Your Disneyland visit is quickly approaching! If you head to the parks with your name as the Guest on each of the
tickets for your party you should be fine. At Disneyland Resort, the name isn't necessarily the thing that attaches a Guest to a ticket. When you arrive at the gates, a Cast Member will scan the ticket and then take a photo of the Guest. This is how a ticket is assigned to a Guest. Then the next time you use it to scan into the park, your photo will pop up for the Cast Member to verify that it is the same person using the ticket. If there is an issue and you need to have the correct names attached, the Cast Member can direct you to the Main Entrance Ticket Booths to get that resolved.
While it should be okay, if you have a large group and have park hopper tickets or have multiday tickets you may want to take the time to get the names changed. This is because it may be more difficult to remember which person is attached to which ticket each time you scan into a park. As I mentioned before, you could get this fixed at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth or Guest Services in the parks. Ahead of time, you can call
Ticket Services or chat with a Cast Member in the
Disneyland app to get the names changed.
Enid, I hope I was able to give you some insightful ticket information and I hope you have the most magical visit! See you real soon!
Carrie
