Hello Amy! Thank you for taking time to stop by planDisney.
Such a bummer that the pandemic derailed your Spring Break plans at the Walt Disney World Resort last year. (Like you, our family vacation plans were also put on hold; we had planned a trip to Tokyo Disneyland Resort for my daughter’s high school graduation. While we still plan on going there when international travel restrictions are lifted, our best bet for now is to head to Walt Disney World Resort!)
Hakuna Matata about the tickets you purchased last year, Amy. Due to the pandemic, Walt Disney World Resort has made some
modifications regarding some of their policies and offerings. If you purchased your theme park tickets before June 6, 2020 with a valid use period beginning March 12, 2020 or later, your tickets will automatically be extended through September 26, 2021. Thus, you will definitely be able to use your previously purchased tickets on your next trip during Spring Break 2021.
As you’re planning your upcoming vacation, Amy, be sure to link your purchased tickets to
My Disney Experience (either on the
DisneyWorld.com website or on the
latest version of the app). You will need to make reservations for your park entry via the
Disney Park Pass system. This is a way for Walt Disney World Resort to manage theme park attendance and promote physical distancing to ensure safety for all Guests and Cast Members. Don’t forget to pack face coverings as they are required at all times, except in designated areas.
I hope this helps, Amy. Please swing by planDisney for more tips and advice as you plan your Spring Break vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth! We are all EARS.
See ya real soon,
Kiki
