Hi Arjun, welcome to planDisney!
I'm so sorry to hear about your Father-in-Law. I hope he heals swiftly and is feeling better soon! I do want to briefly mention that the
Disneyland Resort has been continuously monitoring the health and safety conditions throughout the resort, and have been adapting guidelines as necessary. For the latest news on what you can expect, please take a look at
this website!
Theme park tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, but I do have good news! They are valid to use until their stated expiration date. And tickets are not assigned to a Guest until the Guest walks through the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Turnstiles, and has their ticket scanned and photo taken by the Cast Member. So if your In-Laws are unable to travel to the United States, hopefully, you can still use the tickets in the future for another magical trip!
If you purchased your tickets this year from the Disneyland Resort website, you have plenty of time to use them! One-day tickets are valid through December 30, 2023, and multi-day tickets are valid through January 12, 2024, or within 13 days of first use, whichever occurs first.
Lastly, in the worst case that your tickets happen to expire, even then you still have options! Per
Disney's eTicket Terms & Conditions, any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park tickets (except for special event tickets or tickets purchased from a third party), can be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket in equal or greater value to what was paid for the original ticket. Good news right?
I hope this was able to help, and if you have any further questions, please do let us know!
See ya real soon!
