Hi, Kelley! Welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up faster than you can say "To Infinity and Beyond!" Let's make sure your tech is in good order so you can get back to making those out-of-this-world plans!
It sounds like you'd like to use
Disney's brand new MagicMobile service for your theme park tickets. I think that's a galactically awesome idea! Disney MagicMobile works with your smartphone and your My Disney Experience app to make entering the parks easier than ever. As long as you have your phone, you've got your ticket!
To use Disney MagicMobile, you'll need to make sure all of your
tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account. Then just
hop into the app and look for the three little horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of your screen. Next, click on the Disney MagicMobile tile and follow the prompts to save your ticket to your Apple Wallet or other digital pass program. When you arrive at the park entrance, you can just tap your phone and go!
Now, to
enable digital passes for multiple Guests, you can save all of them to one phone if they're linked to the same My Disney Experience account. For example, I manage tickets for my husband and my son, so I can create digital passes in my Apple Wallet for their tickets as well as my own. In that case, instead of tapping my phone at the touchpoint, I'd swipe through each ticket in my Apple Wallet and a Cast Member would scan them. This is the best way to manage tickets for young children or others in your immediate family.
To share tickets with your extended family, I'd start by adding them to your
Family & Friends list in your My Disney Experience account. You can either enter their info manually or have the system send them an email invite to link with you. Once they're on your list, you can
reassign the tickets you purchased to the other members of your traveling party. From there, they should be able to follow the same directions to add the tickets to their digital wallets. Just note, they'll also need to set up their own My Disney Experience accounts to create a digital pass.
I hope I answered your question, Kelley. If you still need more information, you can always
call Disney's Guest Relations and speak directly to a Cast Member, or drop us another question. After all, you've got a friend in planDisney!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
