I purchased tickets for my family to attend Disney World. Is there a way for me to get the tickets I purchased for my sister onto her Disney Experience account instead of on mine?

    Hi Caitlyn, welcome to planDisney!

Fairy Godsisters are as welcome as can be at Walt Disney World Resort. I understand you recently used your magic wand to purchase tickets for your family and that they are currently linked to your My Disney Experience account. I know a couple of spells that should do the trick of transferring your sister's ticket to her My Disney Experience account.

If the ticket you'd like to transfer to your sister's account is currently linked to a My Disney Experience profile with her name on it, follow these steps to merge the account profile managed by your account with her separate account:

    1. Click "Update" next to your sister's name as it appears on your Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience.
    2. Click "Share Planning with [sister's name]."
    3. Enter the email address associated with your sister's My Disney Experience account and click "Continue."
    4. Once your sister accepts the email invitation to connect, all of her vacation entitlements housed in your account (including her ticket) will automagically transfer to her account. You will remain connected as Family & Friends.

If the ticket you'd like to transfer to your sister's account is currently linked to you in My Disney Experience, click the reassign ticket dropdown menu on the right to assign the wholly unused ticket to another member of your Family & Friends List. If your sister's name does not appear on that dropdown menu, select "Add a Guest" and complete the following steps to link the ticket to your sister while simultaneously adding her to your Family & Friends List:

    1. Select "I'll enter their name and age."
    2. Select "Invite this Guest to connect," which only appears once the age has been entered.
    3. Enter the email address associated with your sister's My Disney Experience account.
    4. Once your sister accepts the email invitation to connect, the ticket will be linked to her and you will officially be connected as Family & Friends, which means you can view and make plans for each other.

In addition to valid admission, each person requires a theme park reservation for each park day and a method of entry. Matching t-shirts are optional but highly recommended, especially for family photos in front of Cinderella Castle.

I'm happy to continue this conversation anytime, Caitlyn. June will be here before you know it!
