Hi Yemile!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. It looks like you are planning a magical visit for you and your family and are hoping to put the finishing touches on your trip planning prep work. You've come to the right place. We're happy to help you with everything from where to find the best snacks to how to map out your park day to how to link tickets in the app so everyone can enjoy their time in the magic.
You can absolutely link your family's
theme park tickets to their individual accounts to allow them to enter and exit the parks on their own and book
Lightning Lanes separately from you. To do this, you'll all want to be logged into your accounts in the
Disneyland app and head to the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner to select "My Tickets & Passes". This is where you will see all of the tickets you purchased from this particular account. You will stay here while your family member(s) will tap the "+" in the top right-hand corner to "Link Tickets and Passes". Here, they can either scan the barcode for their ticket directly from your phone or manually enter the ticket ID number located underneath the barcode. If you are traveling with a group of adults who may want to break off into smaller groups, everyone might want to link to each other using the same process. You can make Lightning Lane selections for any tickets that are linked in your account, so by having everyone linked, any combination of Guests can make plans separately from the larger group. When my planDisney pals and I visit the parks together, we will often all link each other's tickets so we can move with flexibility throughout our park day.
Don't forget that included in your Lightning Lane Multi Pass are unlimited downloads of any
Disney PhotoPass photos you take during your park day, as well as access to the
Disney PhotoPass Lenses. I love that this encourages Guests to jump into as many photos as possible to capture those unforgettable moments. My kids love playing around with the PhotoPass Lenses while we wait for attractions and entertainment. These can be accessed by tapping the same three-line icon in the app as we did above and scrolling to the "Disney PhotoPass" section. You will be able to add fun filters and animations to photos, some of which are themed and only available depending on where you are in the parks!
Yemile, I hope we've set you up for a successful day at the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any more questions, we'd love to help!
Wishing you magic!
Tara
