Hi, I have purchased tickets for 2 families (3 and 4 people) which are currently on my account. Can I move some tickets to another account, so they can plan themselves?

Hi there! Welcome to planDisney, John! I’m excited to be able to help you today.

Before you know it, you’ll be headed out on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Well, hold on to your hat, John, because it is bound to be a wild ride with so much happening around Walt Disney World! From incredible attractions to the fantastic EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, there is certainly something for the entire family to enjoy. You must be getting so excited!

John, you’re so kind to have arranged the plans and tickets for your group! I know it’s a lot of hard work to plan a vacation, so I’m sure your family will appreciate all you’ve done! Now, I am happy to say that reassigning tickets is as easy as can be, all thanks to your handy My Disney Experience account. You’ll first want to make sure the other guests are linked in your Friends & Family list. To do this, just follow the steps below:

    • Have the other party members log into their My Disney Experience app. Ask them to open the menu by clicking on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner, click on "My Profile," and select "Show My Linking Code."
    • Have them jot down the six-character manual code on this screen, and send it over to you.
    • Once you have their manual linking code, open your My Disney Experience app and navigate to "My Profile."
    • Next, toggle to "Family & Friends List" and select "Add a Guest."
    • Click on "Scan their linking code," then "Manually Enter a Code," and submit, and you are all set!
    • The manual linking codes are only valid for 30 minutes each, so keep that in mind as you follow the steps above.

Now that your party is linked up, you can reassign the tickets over to them. Below are the steps to take care of this:

    • First, log into your My Disney Experience mobile app.
    • Next, open the menu by clicking on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner.
    • From there, select the “Tickets and Passes” tile.
    • Next, scroll over to the ticket you would like to assign, and click on the blue “Reassign Ticket” link.
    • From there, you will see your list of linked Family & Friends and can select the Guest you want to reassign the tickets to.
    • Click on “Reassign,” and you’re all set!

Pretty easy, right? I am just so excited for you to visit Walt Disney World. You’re going to have such an amazing time, especially since you will be visiting during The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! Please visit us again soon with any other questions you may have!

    Bye for now,
    Diana
