Hello there, Barbara!
From one fellow Magic Key holder to another, welcome back! We love a good repeat customer and we hope that we've been able to assist you with planning your visits to the Disneyland Resort!
Oh boy, your visit is almost here! There's so much going on at the Disneyland Resort this year, it's enough to make your head spin like a ride on
Mad Tea Party! I'm happy to report, though, that your Believe Magic Key discount will still apply to
merchandise and restaurants throughout the Disneyland Resort. I did see, however, that the
Magic Key Terms and Conditions state that "a Pass is not valid for parking on a date for which such Pass is blocked out." Also, your PhotoPass perk is only valid for pictures "captured while such Pass is valid for admission to a Disneyland Resort theme park." Finally, if you choose to purchase
Genie+ on the day of your visit, you will not receive the Magic Key discount since that entitlement is attached to your standard ticket.
We're kindred spirits in that we both would love to visit the Happiest Place on Earth even during blockout periods. You're visiting at a fantastic time because
Mickey's Toontown will have just re-opened. A couple of my panelist friends will be featured on a planDisney
podcast episode about the premiere of the new land, so be on the lookout for that content! The
Food & Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure is also going on at that time, so be sure to study the
Foodie Guide to see if anything tempts you. For me, the Pineapple-coconut Churro is a must-try!
Barbara, I hope this answer was helpful for you in planning your upcoming trip. Please feel free to write back to
me or any of my pals at planDisney with any other questions you might have!
