Hello, I purchased tickets for Disneyland a little over 2 weeks ago, then canceled them the same day as we decided to purchase park hopper tickets instead. How long does it take to receive a refund of the canceled tickets? Thank you!

    Hi Lorena,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. It's great to hear you'll be park hopping to enjoy even more magic at the Disneyland Resort theme parks.

I can understand you're looking into the status of the tickets you mention you cancelled. The best suggestion I can offer is that you reach out to the Disneyland Resort Ticket Services team at (714) 781-4636. The Cast Members can help provide you with details about your tickets. What I can share is that, typically, theme park tickets are nonrefundable. I am wondering if, perhaps, what you cancelled were your theme park reservations? It's possible to cancel theme park reservations, and your theme park tickets remain available for making replacement reservations.

No matter what your situation, Lorena, the Cast Members on the Ticket Services team are your best, most friendly, and most knowledgeable resource for helping you with your theme park ticket question.

One bit of bright news to share is that the tickets you purchased have an expiration date that should provide plenty of time for you to use them to enjoy all the magic of the theme parks. In the event that your tickets go unused and do expire, you can typically apply the amount you paid towards the purchase of new theme park tickets.

Lorena, I hope you enjoy all the magic at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
