    I purchased tickets for Disneyland including Genie+ from AAA. Why is Genie+ not showing on my Disneyland App?

    Hiya, Trudy!

    Oh boy! Adding extra magic to your Disneyland Resort vacation is a great idea. The Disney Genie+ service is just the thing for it. Your three Genie+ wishes will be granted with the ability to schedule available return times to Lightning Lane entrances of many attractions, complimentary downloads of your Disney PhotoPass pictures, and access to Audio Tales to enhance your experience at the Disneyland Resort.

    The Genie+ entitlement becomes available after your theme park tickets are activated as you pass through the turnstiles of the theme park entrance each day of your visit. Although Genie+ may not show up on the “Tickets and Passes” screen of the Disneyland mobile app, you will still be able to access its features in various places within the app as follows.

    • Audio Tales may be accessed from the app home screen.
    • You may link PhotoPass photos on the “Photos” screen accessed from the ☰ feature menu or the “Link PhotoPass Photos” button of the ‘+’ menu.
    • Lightning Lane return times may be booked from the Disney Genie Tip Board, which can be found on the ☰ feature menu or by tapping the “View My Genie Day and Tip Board” button on the ‘+’ menu.

    Tony’s Tip: If you want to book a Lightning Lane return time for a specific attraction, you can scroll through the Tip Board to find it. Or you may also locate the attraction from the map view and open its information detail screen. Tapping the “LL” Lightning Lane button in the detail screen will open the Tip Board and automatically scroll to that attraction’s position to let you proceed with booking that experience.
